We can definitely work with your preferred brands and components, and use them as a starting point to build out your whole design. Otherwise I would be happy to give my best recommendation on components to meet your power system goals.
After purchasing a custom design, you are welcome to email me before and after filling out your questionnaire, and I can work with you to nail down your system needs, based on your budget and what devices you'll be running in your van.
There is also a place at the end of the questionnaire where you can leave notes or mention any "unknowns."
This is one of the beautiful parts of this service, you have a vandweller that has designed many systems who can be a sounding board for what you'd like to accomplish, and I can make recommendations on what I think you need to meet your budget and performance requirements.
While I ask that you fill out the questionnaire to the best of your ability, I know that occasionally a customer will receive a design and parts list and have questions, or new ideas after seeing the initial design. This is natural, and for this reason, up to 2 revisions of your design are included at no additional cost. Revisions beyond this will be invoiced on a per-revision basis.
Yes. The Custom Power System Design will be placed in your account upon purchase. You are able to log in at any time after that and submit your questionnaire. Upon submission your questionnaire answers will be sent to me, and you will receive your design, calculations, and parts lists within 14 calendar days (from the date of the questionnaire submission).
No. This service only includes calculations, design, and parts lists for your electrical system. Installation can be done as a DIY project (which this service is meant to help with) or installation can be purchased as a separate service in addition to the Custom Power System Design.
